The Timeline Synchronizer (TM) Series of Watches and Cuffs

Dear Patrons:

Here, I introduce a line of Steampunk watches and cuffs inspired on the more
"apocalyptic" style of the art.  Dubbed the
Time Synchronizers (TM), these cuffs
and watches will in general feature a copper-plated steel metalwork construction
featuring copper tubing and various brass and steel components, all of them around
a comfortable terracota-hued soft suede cuff.

Two prototypes are still under development, and so far I have these two "Catwalk"
models, which I simply call
Timeline Synchronizer Mk I (TM) (see 3 pictures at
top), and
Timeline Synchronizer Mk II (TM) (see 4 pictures at bottom),
respectively.

Storyline and Inspiration: The Mark I cuff is meant to be a Time-Traveler's
device for shifting between time-lines through the use of the four curious brown
transparent disks, referred to in the 19th. Century as a
Triphasic Bronze-Glass
Time-Flux Condenser (TM)
.

Whereas production will part from the Mk. II model, I don't plan to sell the
Mk I
synchronizer or derivatives of it, as it is based on one-off parts that cannot be
reproduced over and over (specifically the watch). It will remain a "Catwalk
Model" for shows, and presentations in the Steampunk Community.  However, the
second model, the
Mk II, is reproducible, and I would be willing to make a copy
on commission (I guess that turns the
Mark II into a "Beta Version" of the cuff).

Both Mk I and Mk II have a copper tube compartment meant to house a USB
flash disk module, which is still under development (the module is not attached in
any way, so the compartment can be used for other things as well).  The Mk II
model features a unique hinge mechanism to expose the back of the watch, thus
allowing the servicing of the time movement.  The Mk II model also features an
electroluminescent display (Japanese quartz movement).

The Mk I and Mk II cuffs as shown have no buckles or laces to tie the cuff, as the
copper straps provide sufficient support, like a tight-fitting bracelet.  The soft suede
(Mk II model) is attached to a black neoprene layer that provides all the friction
and support required to keep the cuff firmly, yet softly in place (the method is
remarkably effective!).  The cuff rests on the forearm just above the wrist (as if
wearing the watch "riding up" on the lower forearm). The wearer simply adjusts
the size of the cuff by compressing the copper bands against the skin.

By way of testing (i.e. wearing) the cuff myself, I found, that the cuffs are indeed
very comfortable and can be worn all day long "as-is."  The only caveat will occur
when the wearer has a very wide wrist, at which point I would consider an extra
length of suede, and black lacing through the suede and neoprene to provide extra
support (I would ask for measurements of the wrist before making one).

Price and Availability:  If you feel you are interested in the Mk II cuff, I would
urge you to contact me first at jwdunnbaroque@yahoo.com as this model is still
evolving in features (flash disk and "cuff lacing" to be precise), the price is not
fixed yet, so that would depend on the specific features of the commission.
